FAQ

  • How do I order a custom watercolor house portrait?

To begin, simply submit a commission request through our site. Please note: requests are reviewed and subject to approval. Once approved, I’ll confirm your spot, gather your reference photos, and start the painting process.

  • What photos do I need to provide?

Clear, high-resolution photos of your home, venue, or building from the angle you’d like painted are best. If you only have older or partial photos, I can often work with them by combining details.

  • How long does a custom portrait take?

Most watercolor house portraits are completed within 6–8 weeks, depending on size and current commission volume. For holiday deadlines (like Christmas), it’s best to order early — at least 10–12 weeks in advance.

  • Do you offer framing?

Yes! Portraits can be ordered unframed or framed. We can look at different options that I offer to achieve the style you’re going for.

  • Can you paint venues or commercial buildings?

Absolutely. From wedding venues and historic churches to offices and storefronts, I create custom architectural watercolors for both personal and corporate.

  • Is the Porcelain hand painted?

I use oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe porcelain. The paint I use is also food safe, however the manufacturer doesn’t recommend eating off of it. My recommendation is these platters are pieces of art rather than utensils. If you are REALLY wanting to eat off them I can do an alternative painting method for an additional charge.
